Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a Brit-American sitarist and musician. She was the youngest and first woman to receive a British House of Commons Shield she's received Nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian origin to perform live and to be a presenter for the awards ceremony. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was the Indian young sitar singer. She is Ravi Shankar's student and is also his daughter of Ravi Shankar. She was born London in 1982. During the first few years of her life she was split between London New Delhi. She gave her debut performance in New Delhi at the tender age of thirteen.
